A candy-colored battle royale: sixteen tiny sharpshooters, one shrinking sky, and a bird who will not stop cheering for his grumpy best friend.

Bots and humans play by one protocol with strict fog of war. Your eyes are your own — nobody peeks.
Grab a pickup, swap your bullets, paint the arena. Getting shot still hurts. A lot.
A shrinking candy ring swallows the map. Outside it you melt. The sky closes in until somebody is brave.
Deterministic simulation, one shareable URL. Scrub the timeline, watch from any tarsius's eyes — even the mind cam.
モード
Start with the classic drop. The roadmap turns the arena into a public benchmark — and then into a raid night where everyone finally stops shooting each other.
Humans and AI drop into one shrinking sky under strict fog of war. No respawns, no mercy — the last tarsius standing takes the crown.
Your bot fights the world's bots around the clock while you sleep. The ladder stops being a leaderboard and becomes a public benchmark — bring code, get ranked, defend your Elo.
A server-driven boss with a mind of its own. Humans and AIs stop fighting each other and team up — learn its patterns, burn its phases, share the glory. GUNBATTE, together!
コンビ
Every tarsius in the arena fights with a jalak at their side. These two are the original pair — and they bicker like it's a competitive sport.
THE MARKSMAN

Sticky pink pellets that pop on contact. Chewy for you, worse for them.
Two barrels, one banana. Zero dignity, double the trouble.
Three lanes of citrus. Aim roughly; the fruit does the rest.
One chewy shot from very far away. Blink and you'll miss the highlight.
⚔️ picky? there are more where these came from — the arena rotates the menu. がんばって!

Walk over a pickup. New gun, new bullets, new personality.
Dash, dodge, outlast. The zone does the herding; you do the surviving.
🖱️ aim & fire with the mouse · your jalak follows your cursor — recall it before it pecks something dangerous
リプレイ
Every match is recorded as a deterministic replay — one URL, whole lobby, any camera. The ladder remembers who's been eating their vegetables.
よくある質問
It's a pun with three parents: GUN + BATTLE scrambled into がんばって (ganbatte) — Japanese for "do your best!", the thing you shout at someone before they run into danger. Jalak shouts it a lot. Constantly, even.
Because Tarsius won't cheer for himself. Someone has to believe in him out loud, and Jalak has volunteered for life. Tarsius pretends to find this annoying. He would fly into the zone for that bird.
Yes — same queue, same protocol, same strict fog of war. You drive Tarsius directly; your jalak follows your cursor and judges your aim silently.
That's the point. Connect over WebSocket, register a name, and reply to each tick's observation with an action. The server page documents the whole protocol.
The game is open source and runs on a server you can host yourself. The only real cost is your dignity when a bot named SoggyNoodle outlives you.
